What is the TILI Foundation?: 

   Tili (Take It or Leave It) was an idea that my wife came up with after many nights of praying and asking God what his direction was for our family and what we could do to help others. We found at times we could be selfish with the abundance of gifts we had been given and having a desire to do more with these gifts that God had given us, we began to pray and asked for his will for us and the courage to carry it out.

   From these prayers one of the answers my wife was given was an idea of a place where anyone in need could come to and ask for help. No matter how small or large the need was. My wife felt God was calling her to present a safe place where anyone who found themselves in a time of trepidation could turn to and find support. That support could be clothes, food, money, prayers, or simply someone to talk to. 

   This same principle applied to anyone who found themselves in the same space we were in. Thankful for all God had given to them and looking for ways in which to help others. They too in turn, could come to the same place and offer their services to be matched up with someone in need.

This in a nut shell is what the TILI Foundation is all about. If you need it, ask for it and if you have it, offer it up for those who ask.


How does it work?

Simple. Send an email to help@tilifoundation.org and follow these steps:


If you need help:
1. In the subject put "Need Help"
2. In the body of the email tell us about yourself, who you are, where you live, your family. (You don't have to be specific but please share a little)
3. Tell us specifically what you need help with (i.e. money, prayers, food, clothes)
4. If money, tell us how much and to whom we should write a check to. (We will not just sent you money but we will pay a bill or loan for you directly)
5. Include your address and contact information.

If you want to help:
1. In the subject put "Support"
2. In the body of the email tell us what you could help with (i.e. clothes, canned food, money)
3. When we receive a request for help we will send an email to those supporters the request matches. If you wish to support the request, simply reply and we will send you all the information you need to fulfill the request.





Is this serious?

   We are very serious. All requests that come in will be looked at and we will pray on them for discernment. I emphasis prayer as we will not be able to support all requests but we will be able to support those requests in which God desires us to fulfill. If you landed here we believe God brought you here for a reason, so ask for what you need and by the Grace of our Heavenly Father, maybe we will be able to help you.
